Allen was a 2 sport Athlete at Mt Eden high.

As a 4 Year Starter for Both Basketball (point-guard) and Baseball (Pitcher and 3^rd base), Allen earned All league Player of the year, East Bay Player of the year, All Tourney and “Mr Hustle”.

He received scholarship offers for both sports but chose baseball,  And went to Azusa Pacific 1987-88 then Ohlone college 88-89.

Allen has coached for over 10+ years on various teams.  He Began with California Heat, and over the years has coached for Lady Hustle 18Gold, Lady Sharks 18 gold Piper, South bay Stars 18 gold, and now he has returned to California Heat.  During this time Allen has taken his teams to both the Nationals and Western World Series, and his teams have placed top 10 in both.

In addition to running the organization California Heat, he also has his own hitting Facility in Union City, Ca called HEAT-INDOOR HITTING FACILITY.  He does personal, one on one hitting lessons, fielding lessons, and team practice.  Allen has also had success in signing many young ladies to college.  Allen is very experienced in coaching, motivating, teaching, the mechanics physically, and mentally all aspects of the game of softball.  He teaches young ladies life values from softball, to be independent, have integrity, be a team player, to always hustle, talk it up, and be on time.
