What information is needed for the highest visibility and Success of your profile when Colleges are looking for you?
You may not need / or want all of these items right now, but in time these are the information / links that will be listed on your main profile picture once you move up to the 18Gold for the highest content of your profile position and will create a greater scout/college visibility :
MAIN ROSTER PAGE :
- Jersey Number
- Name
- Positions played
- High School
- Class of.....
- NCAA Number
- youTube Channel Link - Video on how to Create a youTube Channel : this will give you a place to upload videos of yourself on the field and connect to videos already uploaded of your on-field performance. = Multiple videos for scouts and coaches to see all in one place
- If available = Max Preps - Player Page Link
- e-mail (the one you want coaches/scouts to use)
- Stats resume Page - Download a file template
- NCAA # - Download a file on how to get it and what it's for
- NAIA # -
- create an e-mail template - download sample : you will send this to coaches/scouts/colleges to tell them the season's schedule so that they know to look for you at the various showcases.
If you or your parents have any other items or links that you feel would be beneficial, send me an e-mail with the details!! Getting scouts to sit down and watch our games is a team effort, and when they come to see one player, they are able to see all the girls on the field. As an example, they may show up to check out our class of 2015 catcher and end up making an offer to our 2014 pitcher.... The more "Resume Details" we post as a team, the more chance that a visit to our team is considered "worth the travel time" for a college scout.
